Here’s everything you need to know for this year’s Fort Henry Tattoo:
📅 Event Details
- Date and Time: Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
- Duration: The show is approximately 2.5 hours in length from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Access to the lower Fort and the pre-show entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. The show begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.
- Location: Fort Henry, 1 Fort Henry Drive in Kingston, Ontario
- This event is outdoors and takes place ran or shine, please dress appropriately.
- Please be advised loud noises, cannon fire, artillery demonstrations and fireworks are included in this show.
- The show is designed for a bilingual audience and includes content in both English and French.
- Washrooms are available in the Advanced Battery and in the Lower Fort.
🎟️ Ticket Information
Upgrade any ticket on-site for $10.00 to include Fort Henry Historic Day Programming on the same date as the show.
Ticketholders can receive 15% off their food when visiting the Caesar Co in person on the 19th. Each person must present their own ticket to qualify for the discount. Stop by for dinner before the show, or for a bite afterwards! Discount valid on food only.
General Admission includes bleacher seating and is first come first served seating. Bleacher seating is provided for all guests; outside chairs will only be permitted for accessibility reasons.
Premium seating includes:
- A reserved seat with high-back chair and armrests in the elevated balcony section of Fort Henry.
- An optimal view of the performance.
- A complimentary themed cookie.
Please note that balcony seating is not accessible.
All guests, including children aged 0-4 (free), must have a ticket. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. In the case of severe inclement weather, Fort Henry may choose to delay or cancel the show for the safety of our guests and staff. Please keep your eye on Fort Henry social media channels or through email for announcements.
🍴 Retail and Dining
Enjoy a variety of food and retail options throughout the venue:
- The Caesar Company (Lower Fort): Caesars, seltzers, beers, and other alcoholic beverages
- Commissariat Store (Lower Fort): Cold drinks, baked goods, popcorn, candy, souvenirs, and bleacher cushion rentals
- Canteen (Lower Fort): Cold beverages and snacks
- Mrs. Henry’s Treat Shop (Advanced Battery): Open until 7:00 PM with drinks and treats

No outside food or drink is permitted.
♿ Accessibility Information
Fort Henry is committed to providing an accessible environment for all guests. Please note that Fort Henry Tattoo includes live music and drumming, rifle firings, cannon firings, and fireworks.
The venue offers accessible parking and restrooms and allows service animals. Additionally, pathways and event areas are designed to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility devices. Wheelchairs (limited quantity) are available upon request. If you require any specific accommodations or assistance, please contact the event organizers in advance to ensure your needs are met.
A shuttle will be available for guests with accessibility needs from the main parking lot to the Lower Fort before and after the event.
Services will be available from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm and after the show from 9:30 pm onwards.
Please note the shuttle is not accessible via a ramp and is not equipped with accessibility features such as lifts.
